With the “Glory in the Highest Tour,” Chris Tomlin wanted to do more than spread Yuletide cheer.  By incorporating traditional Christmas carols, contemporary worship songs and a special message presented by Louie Giglio, audiences across the country have been celebrating the true meaning of Christmas.
“There’s something about Christmas songs that opens up people’s hearts and has everybody wanting to sing,” Tomlin said.  “With these songs, we’re proclaiming that Christ has come, entered this world and made a way for us.  That is our reason for singing these songs and giving glory to God in the highest.”
Each night on the tour, Giglio (founder of the popular Passion Conferences for college students and pastor of Passion City Church in Atlanta) reflected on the twelve words that changed history and brought hope to humanity.
If you weren’t able to catch the tour, you can hear Giglio’s message on The Twelve Words of Christmas DVD, available at your local Christian bookstore.  You’ll also want to pick up Tomlin’s Christmas album, Glory in the Highest.
