The stars are filing in on the red carpet now, but all of the awards in the Gospel category for the 53rd annual Grammy Awards were announced a few hours ago in a pre-telecast ceremony. Here are this year’s winners:

Best Gospel Performance: BeBe & CeCe Winans, “Grace”
Other nominees: Forever Jones, Israel Houghton, VaShawn Mitchell, Kirk Whalum & Lalah Hathaway

Best Gospel Song (songwriter award): Jerry Peters & Kirk Whalum (songwriters Whalum & Lalah Hathaway), “It’s What I Do”
Other nominees: “Beautiful Things”, “Better Than a Hallelujah”, “Our God”, Return to Sender”

Best Rock or Rap Gospel Album: Switchfoot, “Hello Hurricane”
Other Nominees: David Crowder Band, Fireflight, Gungor, Lecrae

Best Pop/Contemporary Gospel Album: Israel Houghton, “Love God. Love People.”
Other Nominees: Steven Curtis Chapman, Sanctus Real, Ricky Skaggs, TobyMac

Best Southern, Country or Bluegrass Gospel Album: Diamond Rio, “The Reason”
Other Nominees: Austins Bridge, Jeff & Sheri Easter, Ty Herndon, Karen Peck & New River

Best Traditional Gospel Album: Patty Griffin, “Downtown Church”
Other Nominees: Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Shirley Caesar, Marvin Sapp, Karen Clark Sheard

Best Contemporary R&B Gospel Album: BeBe & CeCe Winans, “Still” [Note: BeBe & CeCe are the only double winners in the Gospel category this year.]
Other Nominees: Forever Jones, Fred Hammond, VaShawn Mitchell, Aaron Sledge
