Witnessing the mystery of the Incarnation, especially as my kids begin to experience that for themselves.  Family, stillness  &  feast.

Share one of your favorite Christmas memories.
My grandfather passed away this year so we’re preparing to spend our first Christmas without him. He was tough man, but caring & giving. He loved Christmas and when I was 5, he bought me my first drum kit and a 3 piece suit. That’s a good Christmas right there. 🙂

Are you the type of person who likes to peek at your presents before Christmas morning, or do you hold out?
I’m not a big presents guy so, no, I’m not prone to snoop around. My wife on the other hand will go digging in the closet until she finds the presents.

What do you want for Christmas this year?
A vacation

What are you most looking forward to this Christmas?
I have nothing on my calendar the last 2 weeks of the year except Christmas eve gatherings at our church, Christmas day with my family, my birthday on the 29th and New Years with my extended family.  I can’t wait!!

What are your plans for 2012?
Our new album, “Rich & Poor,” will release on iTunes, and we’ll be touring and leading at Ecclesia Church in Houston, Texas.  I’m thrilled to have the chance to write, record and play music + lead others in worship.  So we’re praying God allows us to continue in 2012.
