The summer festival season may be drawing to a close as school begins, but Walt Disney World provides one more jolt of festival fun every September. This year is no exception. The annual Night of Joy event will descend on Disney’s Magic Kingdom September 6-7, 2013 for two nights of unforgettable performances and countless memories made beneath the glow of Cinderella’s Castle.
This year, longtime Christian music fans will be treated to a one-of-a-kind performance by both Steven Curtis Chapman and Michael W. Smith, who will perform together for the first time at Night of Joy. In addition to these two legends, a slew of favorites and newcomers alike will grace the three stages throughout the park. On Friday, in addition to Chapman and Smith’s collaborative efforts, the line-up includes Skillet, MercyMe, Audio Adrenaline, Mandisa, For King & Country, Moriah Peters, We As Human and City Harbor.
On Saturday, Newsboys, TobyMac, Francesca Battistelli, Building 429, Group 1 Crew, Matthew West, Plumb and Jamie Grace will all take the stage. When fans aren’t rocking out to their favorite artists, they can enjoy one of the many attractions the Magic Kingdom has to offer, including the newly renovated Fantasyland! Eighteen incredible artists, three stages, two non-stop evenings of music…all in the Happiest Place On Earth! And you can be there! For a limited time, CCM Magazine is giving away a trip to Night of Joy. Click here to enter.
Tickets start at $51, and groups of 10 or more will receive a free ticket to a Disney water park or Disney Quest Interactive Theme Park with the purchase of a two-night group ticket.
