Behold Album Art

Like all dads, Jeremy Camp is proud of his kids. Need proof? Look no further than his Instagram account where the award-winning songwriter shares updates from home and the road, often featuring his three children: Bella (11), Aerie (9) and Egan (4). In recent months, Camp’s been hinting that his kids have been in the studio working on a song written by his oldest daughter. This week, Bella and sister Aerie made their musical debut with “Behold,” a song Bella wrote all by herself when she was just 10 years old. Listeners will be amazed at the depth and beauty of this special song, whose lyrics belie her tender age.

“Bella came to me a year ago to tell me she was writing a Christmas song,” Camp shares.”I was so blown away. She had poured out her heart to the Lord [and] wrote this beautiful melody and powerful lyrics. It was so fun to step back and not have any part of writing this song and to see how it’s reaching all different generations of people. Thankful to have my daughters love the Lord with all their heart.”

The song proved to be a family affair, as both Jeremy and his wife, Adie, joined the girls in the studio for the Seth Mosley-produced recording of “Behold.” Even brother Egan got in on the singing action at the end. Look for the track to hit airwaves this holiday season, as it’s currently being shipped to Christian radio. And catch proud papa Jeremy on “The Reason” Christmas tour, featuring speaker/evangelist Nick Hall and singer/songwriter Jamie Grace, in select cities this Christmas.
